1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember information between visits. Websites can also use related technologies, including your browser's local storage. This policy covers both.

2. How we use them

We use browser storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. If Google Analytics 4 is configured and you accept it, we use aggregated reports to understand which pages are visited and which booking or contact routes people select, so we can improve the website.

We use no advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media embeds. Google advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled.

3. Your privacy choice (necessary storage)

When you answer the privacy window, a structured record is saved in your browser's local storage under nude-analytics-consent. It contains your choice, the date you made it, the version of the notice you saw and an expiry date. This record is not a cookie and is not sent to our server.

The choice lasts for 180 days unless you change it or clear your browsing data sooner. We ask again when it expires, when analytics is enabled after being unavailable, or when the provider, purpose or notice changes materially.

4. Google Analytics 4 (optional)

If, and only if, Google Analytics is configured and you actively accept it, Google LLC may use pseudonymous identifiers with page paths, referral source, and browser or device details. We also record selections of Treatwell booking, WhatsApp, phone and directions links. We do not collect the content of your WhatsApp message, enquiry or phone call through analytics.

Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific ga… cookie to distinguish visits and measure traffic. These cookies can remain for up to two years.

Google Analytics is not currently active. Before enabling it, we will publish the verified GA4 event-data retention setting here and ask visitors to make a fresh analytics choice.

Google may process analytics information outside the UK. For international transfers, Google states that it uses the safeguards that apply to the transfer, including UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses under its data protection terms. Until you accept, the grant-only analytics module is not requested, no Google Analytics script is added and no Google Analytics cookie is created. Rejecting analytics does not limit any website content or feature. Ordinary hosting systems may still process essential technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website; that is not Google Analytics tracking.

5. Making and changing your choice

On a first visit, a privacy choices window prevents interaction with the page behind it until you explicitly select Reject analytics or Accept analytics. Both choices unlock the complete website. Pressing Escape does not create a choice for you.

You can review or change the decision at any time using the persistent Cookie settings control or the matching link in the footer. Rejecting after analytics has started stops measurement, removes Google Analytics cookies available to this site and reloads the page in the rejected state.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Look for the cookies section in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Microsoft Edge. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of some websites working, though this website's main content and contact routes remain available.

7. Fonts and other requests

Fonts are served from this website's own domain rather than fetched from a third party while you browse, so loading a page does not make a font request to Google.

8. When you leave this site

Following a booking link takes you to Treatwell, which uses its own cookies under its own policy. Once you leave this website, Treatwell's cookie and privacy terms apply to what happens there.
